VTN Photo · How It Works

My process.

Every shoot starts long before the camera comes out. Here's what working together actually looks like — from first message to shoot day.

01
Step One
The inquiry & the call.

It starts with a message — tell me what you have in mind, whether that's a wedding date, a concept, or just a feeling you can't quite name yet. From there we get on a phone call. I want to hear how you talk about what matters to you, and you should get a sense of who I am. Fit matters. The best work comes from people who actually click, and this call is how we find out if we do.

02
Step Two
Moodboards & planning.

This is where the obsession kicks in. I build moodboards, sketch ideas, and scout locations for the exact look and mood we're after. Every element I can control gets thought through before the day arrives — so that nothing is left to chance except the things that should be. You'll see the direction before we shoot, and you'll always know what to expect.

03
Step Three
The shoot day.

All that planning exists for one reason — so I can let it go and just be present. By the time we're shooting, you're not working with a stranger holding a camera. You're with someone who knows you, knows the plan, and knows exactly when to break it. My job now is to make you comfortable enough that the real moments happen on their own. The world melts away behind the lens. That's when the real work happens.
